TechCrunch has hired Harri Weber as a senior writer to cover climate technology.
Weber has been at dotLA to cover venture capital as its senior reporter for the past year.
Weber had been with Flipboard for two years as its breaking news editor, editing and writing breaking news alerts sent to millions of readers. She also ran Flipboard’s weekly Climate Change newsletter and curate Flipboard’s first video product, Flipboard TV, and worked with the product team on quality control.
She previously was a senior news editor at Gizmodo and news editor and then executive editor at VentureBeat.
Weber also worked at The Next Web and WeWork. And as a freelancer, she’s been published in Fast Company and Gizmodo, among others.
