Previously, she was a telecom reporter at MobileSyrup in Toronto, Canada. She has also interned at Global News and was a staff reporter at The Medium, the campus paper of the University of Toronto. She has also contributed to Her Campus Media and Varsity Publications Inc.
Malik earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree from Western University.
