TechCrunch hires Franceshi-Bicchierai to cover cybersecurity

Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai

Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai has joined TechCrunch to cover cybersecurity, hacking, surveillance and privacy.

Recently, he was a senior staff writer at Vice Motherboard, where he covers hacking, cybersecurity, and privacy.

Franceschi-Bicchierai had been with Vice Motherboard for more than seven years. Previously, he was a reporter at Mashable. Before Mashable, he was an intern at Wired.com, where he wrote for Danger Room, and Threat Level.

Franceschi-Bicchierai graduated from Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and is also a law graduate at University of Barcelona.
