Tech reporter Nix among the Washington Post layoffs

Naomi Nix

Naomi Nix, who was covering Meta and other social media companies, is among the Washington Post layoffs.

Before joining The Post in 2022, she was a reporter for Bloomberg News covering tech lobbying and the Chicago Tribune. Nix’s work focuses on how social media platforms influence American democracy and global politics.

Nix also worked for The Star-Ledger covering City Hall and education.

She is a Princeton University graduate.

He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
