Vincent Manancourt, senior technology reporter for Politico in London, has joined Milltown Partners, a policy and communications firm.
He had been covering Britain’s place in the global tech policy debate as it charts its path post Brexit.
Prior to this, he covered the EU’s attempts to police the digital world for Politico from Brussels, focusing on implementation of the bloc’s landmark data privacy framework, the GDPR. In 2021, investigative reporting he did revealing widespread data security failures at ecommerce giant Amazon contributed to the company receiving a record €746 million fine from regulators.
Before joining Politico, he was the inaugural deputy editor of Global Data Review, a specialist publication focusing on data law and policy.
He’s a dual Luxembourg-British national, growing up in Italy and Luxembourg before studying math at Edinburgh University. He also has a master’s in international journalism from City University London.
