Michael Liedtke, a technology and business reporter for the Associated Press since 2000, has accepted its buyout offer and is departing after 26 years.
His last day is Thursday. He has been in journalism for 43 years.
“I feel like I still have a few stories to tell so it seems likely you will still be seeing my byline down the line,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
Liedtke previously spent 12 years as a business reporter for the Contra Costa Times. He is a graduate of San Jose State University.
