Tech journalist Jennifer Strong has been hired as the new host of “The Next Innovation” podcast.

It was previously hosted by longtime tech correspondent Samantha Murphy Kelly.

“Our shifting cultural and technological landscapes will determine what our collective futures look like, and I can see no higher calling than to explore how it all will affect our jobs and families,” said Strong in a statement. “We’ll do that by looking at everything from sports to agriculture to cybersecurity, and so much more.”

Strong created and hosted the first three seasons of The Wall Street Journal’s award-winning “The Future of Everything,” and her narrative podcasts have been recognized by the Podcast Academy, New York Festivals, the Webby Awards, and The Drum Awards in London.

She’s also the creator of tech programs for MIT Technology Review, and the investigative newsroom ProPublica. Her narrative works have been reviewed by The New York Times, Forbes, and others. Her latest podcast, “SHIFT with Jennifer Strong,” is distributed by the Public Radio Exchange PRX network.

Strong holds a bachelor’s degree from Gardner-Webb University and a master’s degree from American University.
