Team leader Kaya Yurieff is leaving The Information after four and a half years.
As a team leader, she has been focusing on focusing on shaping its creator economy coverage and growing the franchise. Yurieff also has been writing its creator economy newsletter.
Before The Information, Yurieff had been a technology reporter at CNN for the past four years, where she reported on social media platforms, content creators and gig economy workers, including the popularity of LinkedIn influencers, YouTube creator burnout and Instacart tip baiting.
Previously, she covered spot news for The Street.
She grew up outside Burlington, Vermont, and graduated from George Washington University.
