Zahra Tayeb, a news production assistant for CNBC in London, is leaving to attend the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
She had been with CNBC since October 2023.
Taybe previously was a markets reporter for Business Insider in London. She started as a junior business reporter on the weekend business team following the completion of her fellowship.
Previously, she was an editorial intern at Wonderland Magazine and Conde Nast Britain. She has also freelanced for WWD and was a summer analyst at Henderson Chambers and the BBC.
Tayeb graduated from King’s College in London.
