Bloomberg News has tapped Omar Tamo to be deputy team leader for breaking news in the Middle East.
He will be moving to Dubai.
He has been a breaking news editor in the Middle East based in Abu Dhabi covering mainly financial news for the past two years.
Tamo was previously business writer at Forbes Middle East, covering financial and economic news in the region. He previously reported on developments related to Lebanon’s economic and political systems.
He also worked for more than five years in the foreign exchange market in Lebanon. Tamo is a graduate of the American University of Science and Technology.
