Katie Tabeling has been promoted to editor of Delaware Business Times.
Tabeling replaces Jacob Owens has been named the editor in chief of Spotlight Delaware, a new collaborative nonprofit newsroom and news website slated to launch next month.
She previously was a reporter and an associate editor of the publication, which she joined in January 2020.
Tabeling preciously was a reporter at the Cecil Whig in Elkton, Maryland and Ocean City Today, another Maryland newspaper.
She is a graduate of Washington College in English literature and creative writing.
