Sugiyama joining Reuters as autos and mobility tech correspondent

Satoshi Sugiyama

Satoshi Sugiyama will be joining Reuters as an autos and mobility technology correspondent based in Tokyo.

He begins next week.

Currently, he is a political correspondent at The Japan Times, where he was also a business reporter. He has also interned at The New York Times, Tampa Bay Times and the Associated Press.

Sugiyama graduated from Syracuse University, where he has also worked at the student paper.
