Bloomberg Law reporter Shira Stein is leaving the news organization for a new opportunity.
She had been covering Medicare and had been with Bloomberg Law since 2018.
Stein is a former intern on the Metro Desk at The Washington Post. She also spent a summer interning with Bloomberg BNA on its corporate and transactional news desk and a semester interning with The Durango Herald as its Washington correspondent.
During college, she was also a freelance writer for Media File and a freelance social media producer for The Hill, running Facebook Live streams and its Snapchat. She has also edited pieces published in The Washington Post, NBC News, The Hill and Huff Post.
Stein is a graduate of American University.
