Bethan Staton has been named deputy editor of work and careers coverage at the Financial Times.
She has been spending the last four years reporting about education and public policy at the Financial Times. Before that she was a digital reporter at Sky News, and a freelance reporter covering migration and conflict in the Middle East.
Staton also worked at The Daily News as a staff writer.
She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.
