STAT News has hired Axios reporter Bob Herman to cover hospitals, health insurance and other health business stories.
He will start on Feb. 28.
Herman has been at Axios for the past five years covering the finances, policies and politics of the health care industry. Previously, he was the Midwest bureau chief for Modern Healthcare and a senior editor for Becker’s Hospital Review.
Herman is a Butler University graduate. While there, he was editor in chief of the student newspaper.
