SportsBusiness has hires Jonathan Rest to be global sports reporter.
Rest joins after two years as head of content at TransferRoom. Before that, he spent 11 years at Sportcal writing about all facets of the sports business sector.
Rest will work alongside global news editor Martin Ross. Rest, who became head of news at Sportcal in 2019, joins an editorial operation now led by editor in chief Callum McCarthy.
“SportBusiness has the best editorial team in the industry by far, and I’m delighted to be a part of it,” Rest said in a statement. “There’s nothing like the buzz of daily news and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the biggest stories that are shaping the business of global sport.”
