Sports Business Journal partnering on TV show

The Sports Business Journal, which is part of American City Business Journals, has struck a deal with Monumental Sports Network to start a television show.

The show, called “Sports Business Journal: Inside the Industry,” will air its first show on Jan. 27 with new episodes on the last Monday of each month.

It plans to cover cover the rapidly evolving business of sports and provide an in-depth look into the trends, leaders, and innovations shaping the world of sports today.

“The sports business is more sophisticated and intriguing than ever before,” said Abe Madkour, publisher and executive editor at SBJ, in a statement. “Through our access to industry leaders and our deep knowledge of the issues and trends, we can deliver real insight into what’s happening behind the scenes.”

The show will include content from Sport Business Journal’s 15 events as well as its editorial staff. Its studio will be in downtown Washington near the Capitol One Arena.
