Bloomberg News reporter Juan-Pablo Spinetto is becoming a Latin America columnist for Bloomberg Opinion.
He has been managing editor for economics and government coverage in Latin America for the past five years, based in Mexico City.
Before that, Spinetto was an executive producer for Bloomberg TV in Mexico City and a commodities reporter for Bloomberg in Brazil. He also was deputy bureau chief in Brazil and a reporter and producer in London.
He also was a reporter for El Economista in Argentina.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s from Birkbeck, University of London.
