Cameron Sperance is departing his role as senior hotels reporter at The Points Guy after three years to be the new editorial/content director at the travel division of Questex, which produces a variety of titles, including Luxury Travel Advisor, and luxury travel-oriented events like the ULTRA Summit.
He will start Jan. 21.
Prior to joining TPG, Sperance was a hotel reporter at travel media brand Skift and a real estate reporter for commercial real estate trade publication Bisnow.
His work and commentary have been featured in outlets like Barron’s, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, CNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post.
He continues to freelance regularly for the Boston Globe’s real estate section.
