Ellie Potter, a power policy reporter at S&P Global, has left to work in public affairs at American Renewable Energy’s Macro Grid Initiative.
Previously, Potter covered the coal sector from a financial perspective and also reported on congressional and federal agency actions pertaining to energy policy for S&P Global. She reported for the Daily News-Record in Virginia and The Dickinson Press in North Dakota.
She interned at Real Clear Politics, the Washington Examiner and Richmond Magazine.
Potter has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.
