Taylor Kuykendall, senior metal, mining and coal reporter at S&P Global, is leaving the news organization after a dozen years.
His last day will be Oct. 6.
“Covering coal, mining, and the energy transition gave me a front-row seat to one of the most critical US business stories of our time — and taught me how to connect complexity with clarity,” he wrote on LinkedIn. He also hosted the “Energy Evolution” podcast.
Kuykendall previously covered energy for The State Journal in West Virginia and was a staff writer for The Register-Herald in Beckley, West Virginia.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marshall University.
