The South Florida Business Journal has hired Fred Gonzalez to be its managing editor.
Gonzalez most recently was senior content and partnership strategist for Ink Global, a travel media company that produces in-flight magazines and websites for airlines such as United Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.
He also spent 12 years at the Miami Herald in editing positions and more than three years at the Washington Post. Gonzalez also worked at The State in South Carolina as a reporter and editor.
He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
