Reuters correspondent Daina Beth Solomon is moving to Chile to cover Latin America mining.
She has been a reporter at Reuters in Mexico City covering business, politics, migration and breaking news for the past six years.
Before joining Reuters in August 2017, Solomon spent two years as a reporter for the Los Angeles Business Journal covering real estate. She also worked at LA Weekly covering food and culture.
Solomon holds a bachelor’s degree from Occidental College and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California.
