Social media editor Rieck departing Bloomberg

Kami Rieck

Kami Rieck, a social media editor at Bloomberg, is leaving for a new opportunity.

She has been serviving as an editor on its main social media team, based in New York. Previously, Rieck held the same post on Bloomberg Opinion’s Asia team.

She worked freelance for The Washington Post’s The Lily, The Boston Globe, Poynter and Nieman Reports. She was a statehouse correspondent at the Daily Hampshire Gazette and was an engagement fellow at the Texas Tribune.

She was a social media fellow at Business Insider and interned at The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine. Rieck graduated from Boston University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
