Smalley to join Reuters as a cybersecurity correspondent

Suzanne Smalley

Reuters has hired Suzanne Smalley as a cybersecurity correspondent.

Smalley will begin on Jan. 3.

Recently, Smalley was at CyberScoop, where she covered intelligence and disinformation. She covered technology at Inside Higher Education and was a reporter at Yahoo News.

She was a media consultant at nonprofit research and policy institute Opportunity Insights, a senior producer at The Atlantic and a national correspondent at Newsweek.

Smalley has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University.
