Travel industry news site Skift has promoted Rashaad Jorden to the role of associate editor and archivist.
He has been a freelancer and editorial assistant for Skift for the past two years.
“Not many media companies have archivists, certainly none a decade-old, but the creation of this job shows forward-thinking and a confidence that Skift’s work through the years can reach new audiences,” said editor in chief Tom Lowry in a note to the staff.
Jorden was previously a staff writer for Ethical Traveler. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Coppin State University and a master’s degree from Leeds Beckett University.
