Tom Simonite
Wired senior writer Tom Simonite has moved to a role editing business stories at the magazine.
He has been at Wired since June 2017. In Simonite’s role as senior writer, focused on artificial intelligence and its vast potential to shape the future.
Simonite joined Wired from MIT Technology Review, where he served as San Francisco bureau chief. He has covered science and technology for more than a decade, and previously wrote and edited emerging technology coverage for New Scientist.
He holds a master’s degree from Imperial College London.
