Maija Palmer, innovation editor at Sifted, will be leaving to join Global Corporate Venturing as an editor.
She begins in May.
As innovation editor, she also developed Future Proof, Sifted’s corporate innovation newsletter. Before that, she was a senior reporter.
Palmer also worked at the Financial Times for 20 years, where she covered tech, media and telecoms. She also served as a tech correspondent, commissioning editor for the Business Life section, and as a social media journalist.
She was also a social media editor for new platforms and innovation, and digital and communities editor for special reports. She was then promoted to the post of acting deputy editor for special reports.
Palmer has a B.A. from Goldsmiths, University of London and a M.A. from SOAS University of London.
