Sherwood News has hired J. Edward Moreno as a reporter.
Moreno was a Carr Fellow at the New York Times and covered employment and labor at Bloomberg Law.
He also worked at Law360 as a reporter covering the legal industry. Previously, he was a breaking news reporter at The Hill. He has also worked as a Washington, D.C. reporting fellow at Texas Tribune and was a Pulliam fellow at The Arizona Republic.
Moreno was also a digital content producer at The Monitor. He has also worked as a breaking news/general assignment reporter with a focus on maintaining the publication’s website and social media accounts.
Moreno holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication, political science and environmental science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
