Shahid joins Reuters as a Pakistan correspondent

Reuters has hired Ariba Shahid as a correspondent based in Pakistan.

Recently, she was a contributor at DealStreetAsia.

Shahid was a business and economic journalist at Pakistan Today, where she covered the central bank, financial markets, financial institutions, foreign exchange, commodities, general macroeconomic trends, aviation, occasionally FMCGs and investigative stories.

She has been featured on BBC News, Dawn, and Channel 5, and is a regular guest on PTV World.
