Priya Anand, a tech culture reporter at the San Francisco Standard, has left the publication to start a communications consulting business.
She previously was at Bloomberg News covering startups and venture capital. Before joining Bloomberg, Anand served as a reporter at The Information covering Amazon and e-commerce.
She also worked at BuzzFeed as a transportation reporter. Prior to joining BuzzFeed, Anand was covering cybersecurity for MarketWatch.
In addition, she has served as an intern at Politico and held the posts of metro news editor and editor-in-chief at The GW Hatchet. Apart from Politico, Anand has also interned at the Houston Chronicle, New York Daily News and Street Sense.
Anand graduated from the George Washington University.
