Tom Lowry, the senior vice president of editorial strategy at entertainment industry news site The Wrap, is leaving for a new opportunity.

“I won’t disclose growth numbers, but the gains TheWrap has seen with its sub counts, both individual and corporate, is a testament to the quality of work TheWrap does day in and day out as stakeholders in entertainment in media see it as essential,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

Lowry previously was senior editor in business for The Messenger, which shut in 2024. He was also editor in chief of Skift, a website focused on the business of travel, as well as its managing editor.
