Senior reporter Klapper among The Points Guy layoffs

Ethan Klapper

Senior aviation reporter Ethan Klapper is among the layoffs at The Points Guy on Friday.

He had been with the travel industry news organization for a year covering the airline industry.

Klapper previously was at Yahoo News as a senior audience development editor and as a social media editor at HuffPost.

He also worked at the National Journal as an online editor and at Mediabistro as a blogger.

Klapper is a graduate of American University and holds a master’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill.
