Senior finance reporter Casey Wagner is among the layoffs at cryptocurrency media company Blockworks.
She is one of the original reporters when it launched its news division in 2021.
Wagner was part of a scoops and investigations team that launched two months ago focusing on financial policy and regulation and crypto markets.
She interned at Bloomberg News and is a University of Virginia graduate.
