
Senior editor Rob Watts is among the layoffs at personal finance site Bankrate.com.
He had been with the company for more than a year and oversaw three direct reports and 10 freelancers.
“I’m deeply grateful for the time I had with the company and proud of what our team accomplished together,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “Now, I’m looking ahead with optimism to the next chapter of my professional life.”
Watts previously was a managing editor at Forbes Advisor, an editor at Fit Small Business and a reporter at PCMag.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton.
