Semafor has hired Sarah Dadouch to cover Saudi financial, business and geopolitical news.
She has been at The Washington Post as a Beirut-based correspondent covering Syria and Lebanon, as well as the Gulf.
Previously, she was a Reuters correspondent in Beirut, Riyadh and Istanbul covering Lebanon, Syria, the Gulf and Turkey. She grew up in Damascus, Syria.
Dadouch holds a bachelor’s degree from Cal Berkeley and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
