The Seattle Times has hired Renata Geraldo as a business reporter.
She starts next month.
She has been a data reporter at the Sacramento Business Journal since January 2021.
Gerado was a reporter with the Wall Street Journal corporate team as part of the fall 2020 newsroom internship class.
She also interned at the Eugene Weekly and Bloomberg News.
She is from São Paulo and is a 2020 honors graduate from the University of Oregon. She was editor-in-chief of Ethos Magazine and has had bylines in the Daily Emerald, Época Negócios and What’s New in Publishing.
