Claire Cameron has been hired as the breaking news chief at Scientific American.
Previously, she was the deputy news editor at Semafor.
Originally from Scotland, she moved to New York in 2012. Her work has appeared in National Geographic, Slate, Inc. magazine, Nautilus, The Daily Beast, and elsewhere.
She holds a master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
