Real estate news site Bisnow has hired Erica Scalise to cover Chicago.
She is also part of a fellowship at the City Bureau, which is exploring affordable housing and development.
Previously, she was an associate producer at The 21st at Illinois Public Media, where she booked guests, researched, wrote and produced content for a daily live radio show with a focus in engagement production.
She was an intern at WNYC’s “The Brian Lehrer Show.” Previously, she worked at Bronx-based NPR-affiliate radio station WFUV-FM 90.7. There, she covered the city’s affordable housing crisis and anchored weekly for the station.
Scalise has a B.A. in journalism from Fordham University.
