Please join me in congratulating our colleague, Andrew Satter, on some great news. Andrew is being promoted to a new role as deputy executive producer of the video & podcast team. In this role, he will continue to produce and edit videos, occasionally edit podcasts, and help me manage our team.
Andrew joined Bloomberg Industry in late 2019 as a senior video journalist, and his list of accomplishments over the past two years are numerous, including: an intimate and candid video about what it was like to clerk for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the first video to win a Beltz award; a mini-documentary on redistricting and gerrymandering, which racked up more than 84,000 views on the Bloomberg Law YouTube channel alone; and a collaboration with CityLab and our tax desk on a deep dive into New York’s complicated property tax system and the disparities it has created for NYC residents.
Andrew has been integral to our team and the wider newsroom. You know him as a talented video producer, but he has also been a steady presence, supportive team member, and a key driver in sharpening the role of video at Bloomberg Industry.
