Will Sattelberg has been hired by 9to5Google as a reporter.
In addition to writing stories, he will expand its podcast offerings.
Sattelberg was the phones editor at Android Police from August 2022 to May 2025, which usually meant his desk was covered in a dozen different smartphones at any given time. Prior to that, he was a news freelancer throughout 2021, and served as a full-time news editor in 2021 and 2022.
He also hosted the Android Police podcast, where he occasionally taunted his co-hosts with bad opinions about smartwatches and charging cables, and wrote AP’s weekend polls.
