The San Diego Business Journal has hired Jennifer Kastner as a reporter.
A story on its website, “Jennifer is a veteran broadcast journalist who most recently was an on-air news reporter for ABC 10News in San Diego.
“A native San Diegan and graduate of the University of Colorado’s School of Journalism, during her career, Jennifer has also worked at television stations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Midland-Odessa and Salinas.
“At the Business Journal, her beats will include healthcare, the innovation economy and education.
“Jennifer said she’s very excited about making the transition from broadcast to print journalism. ‘This is an incredible opportunity for me and I’m looking forward to covering the community of business in San Diego,’ she said.”
