Hiten Samtani, senior vice president of content at real estate news company The Real Deal, is leaving the organization after more than a decade.
Samtani has been overseeing all content offerings, from the newsroom to its flagship magazine, subscriber-focused journalism, live events, video and training for reporters and editors. The Real Deal released last year its first narrative journalism book, on the blood sport of New York real estate.
Samtani joined The Real Deal at the end of 2012 shortly after graduating from Columbia Journalism School, and has worn nearly every editorial hat, from reporter to managing editor to editor-at-large while he worked on the book.
He most recently was associate publisher and editorial director.
