Doug Sams has been named a senior reporter covering growth and development for the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
He has been a senior reporter at the San Francisco Business Times since November 2024.
Before that, he was Atlanta Business Chronicle editor in chief. Sams first joined the Chronicle is 2006 as its health care reporter before taking over the commercial real estate beat in 2007. He then spent more than a decade as its commercial real estate editor.
He previously spent four years at the Gwinnett Daily Post.
Sams is a University of Georgia graduate.
