The Atlanta Business Chronicle has named Doug Sams as editor in chief, effective immediately.
A story on its website states, “‘I have observed how Doug has worked with our current newsroom team over the past four months and believe he is the right person to take the Chronicle to the next level,’ said David Rubinger, market president and publisher of the Chronicle.
“Sams has worked as interim co-editor in chief since the beginning of the year.”
