Sacramento Business Journal publisher David Lichtman is retiring, and advertising director Bryan Flaherty will take his place.
Lichtman had been advertising director of the Business Journal since October 2011 before becoming publisher in late 2014.
Before joining the Business Journal, Lichtman was a regional sales manager in Sacramento for the Internet marketing firm ReachLocal. He also was vice president and general manager for both Entercom Communications and Comcast Spotlight.
Flaherty has been with the American City Business Journals publication since April 2024 and previously was a market account manager for Univox Media.
