The Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing is seeking applicants for its 2026 Health Care Symposium in Washington, D.C.
The fellowship will give journalists a chance to take a deep dive with experts and veteran reporters into some of the big issues facing U.S. health care, from the growing impact of private equity ownership to the crisis of rural health care, and the changing landscape of medical debt and consumer protection.
Thanks to a grant from The Commonwealth Fund, SABEW will cover the hotel costs and provide a travel stipend for out-of-town attendees. The program kicks off on Thursday evening, March 19, with a welcome dinner. We will have a full day of sessions on Friday, March 20 and will conclude on Saturday, March 21, before noon.
