The Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing selected three business journalists as Sho Fellows for #SABEW24, taking place April 18-20 at the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University’s downtown Chicago campus.
The #SABEW24 Sho Fellows are Noor Adatia, staff writer at Dallas Business Journal; Tiffany Curtis, lead personal finance writer at NerdWallet; and Victoria Zhuang, CLO reporter at 9fin.
During the three-day program, the Fellows will sharpen their journalistic skills, learn best practices, network and more as #SABEW24 will convene newsmakers, government officials, economists, executives, academia and top-notch journalists.
SABEW board member Shobhana Chandra, known as Sho to friends and colleagues, was an economics reporter for Bloomberg News when she passed away in February 2019. After her passing, SABEW started The Sho Fund to salute her legacy and honor her contributions to the profession and the organization. The Sho Fund aims to attract journalists of color and help them in their careers by supporting professional development opportunities.
This project is supported by a sponsorship from Google and donations from individuals. If you would like to make a donation in memory of Sho, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to The Sho Fund online.
