Rubin joins NPR’s Planet Money as associate producer

Willa Rubin

Willa Rubin has joined NPR as an associate producer for “Planet Money,” a podcast that talks about the economy.

She recently was an associate producer at Gimlet Media and The Wall Street Journal podcast.

There, the team’s “WeWork Trilogy” series won awards from the New York Press Club (2020) and the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (2019). She has previously also worked as a news assistant at “The Indicator” from Planet Money.

She has also interned at Dow Jones and was a fellow at MSNBC Dayside.

Rubin graduated from Oberlin College and has a M.A. in journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
