John Blackwell, a business reporter for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, has resigned from the newspaper.
His last day is April 29.
Blackwell has covered manufacturing, agriculture, craft breweries, the tobacco industry, startup businesses, the labor market, economic development and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. He has been at the paper for 22 years.
He previously worked for The Danville Register & Bee, the Greenville (N.C.) Daily Reflector, The Madison (N.C.) Messenger and The Reidsville (N.C.) Review.
He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill.
